You Know you Have a Chronic Illness When...

You know you have a Chronic Illness When...
You're watching this v-log and reading this post! haha! Here's a list of "you know you have a chronic illness when..." one liners. I am sure anyone with a chronic illness or who have family and friends can relate and will get a good chuckle out of some of these! They're a blast to come up with (and a bit frustrating at times if brain fog's setting in...) but nonetheless a great way to de-stress and a get a good laugh or two in your day! Please feel free to share any ones that you think of as I'd love to hear them! The more the merrier and everyone can join in on the fun!

  1. I am so happy I found this blog! I was diagnosed in February of this year so I am new at this !
I have been on prednisone since january, I was on 12.5 mg but we're going up again! :s but I have been feeling so terrible on that dose that I guess I prefer going back to high doses. l
I also have a problem with my thermostat, I thought it was me that I was broken but it's good to finally know the reason!
I am looving your attitude, I laughed so hard with the swagger, even though I am a newbie I can relate to almost all of them.
Thanks for sharing!! Have a spoonfull day !!

  3. There's only one sure way to know if you really have that kind of disease. Consulting your doctor should always be the first thing that you should do. Anyway, thanks for that list.

  4. I echo Karl's insight with regards to this. You could self-diagnose, but knowing how people get paranoid and associate with certain symptoms (which they exaggerate exponentially), consulting a doctor instead of WebMd is the next best step.

  5. gaviotica, I love your story. You're a shining example that chronic illness is not something to be depressed over. It is most definitely treatable.

  6. I'm a bit partial towards this video. It's good that you're poking fun at something serious to lighten it up, but some people could end up offended.

  7. Chronic illness can be depressing indeed. However, we should not stop living our life to the fullest. Instead, it's proper to enjoy life as much as we can. This will give us the strength to live happily. It is also essential for each one of us not to give. We need to stand up no matter what.

  8. I still believe that if you are living in a stress-free life, an illness like this one will not come to any of us. But then again, if worst case happens it is best to consult an expert.
